On this page you can find a way to add a fix audio output to the K2 trx. The output audio goes also via the KAF or KDSP if installed.

The output is connected at the back plane / heatsink and use the unused tranvertor output hole. I have a RCA jacket.

A complete pcboard with components can get from Velleman. I have used kit numer K1803 You need as extra about 70 cm microphone wire, a 1/2" standoff (Male/Female) and a RCA jacket.

There is no conflict with other prints. My K2 is loaded with ssb module, noise blanker, audiofilter, N0SS zero beat cw print and K100 PA.

In the picture you can just see the print . Its just above the 2 coils (L10 and L12) on the right.

Here is a top view. The PCB is mounted on a stand off. The stand off replace a screw thats near by C139.

I take the power (12V) via + wire to the 3 via's near R62 and the - wire connected to ground near RFC 13.

The output is routed to the backplane (blackwire +/- 20 cm) and connected to the RCA jacket.
The input is routed below the ssb module, across switch S1, behind control panel to J8 on the backside of the RF board.

A view at the back-side of the RF board.
Connect the center wire to pin 2 and shield to pen 4 on J8. In the schematic it has label vol1
